More About Me

A dual U.S- Canadian citizen, I was born in Long Island, New York and later immigrated to Toronto, Canada with my family. I attended the University of Toronto, where I obtained my B.Sc. and the University of Western Ontario, where I obtained my LL.B (J.D.)

I was also admitted to the New York State Bar in 2002.

I practiced law in Ontario, Canada for 15 years and my area of expertise included real estate transactions and contract law. While living in Ontario, I also taught business law at Brock University for 8 years with a focus on contract negotiation.

My parents relocated to Sarasota, Florida in 1984 and I immediately fell in love with the area. I subsequently moved to Sarasota and have since resided on Longboat Key, Siesta Key and in Palmer Ranch on Sarasota's mainland. I have experienced firsthand the many delightful lifestyles that the distinct communities in Sarasota have to offer.

Since living in Sarasota, I have taught Practical Real Estate Law, Contract Law and Business Law at Keiser University. My knowledge, coupled with my exceptional negotiation skills as an attorney have contributed to my success as a realtor.

I became licensed as a realtor in 2010 and by the first quarter of 2012 I achieved the distinction of being within the top 1000 Sales Associates nationwide. I have been featured on WSRQ Sarasota Talk Radio whereby I discussed Canadian buyers of Florida real estate.

I have been involved with various community organizations including Gulf Coast Legal Services, Girls Inc, and the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. I am also on the Board of Governors for the Turtle Rock Home Owners Association, as well as its Representative on the Palmer Ranch Master Property Owners Association.  I enjoy golf and am an aficionado of Sarasota's amazing fine arts community.

As an agent who's an expert in this local area, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise about buying and selling real estate here. It's not the same everywhere, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information. I am eager to serve you. Here are some of the things I can do for you:

Find Your Next Home
You need someone who knows this area inside and out! I can work with you to find the right home at the right price for you, including all the neighborhood amenities that matter - not to mention the essential criteria you have for your ideal home

Sell a Home
When it's time to move, you need someone who will advertise your home, show to prospective buyers, negotiate the purchase contract, arrange financing, oversee the inspections, handle all necessary paperwork and supervise the closing. I can take care of everything you need, from start to close.

Consult on Home Selling Tactics
Oftentimes buyers don't visualize living in your home the way you do. I can make your home attractive to its ideal audience - which can help you get top dollar. Things like staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home resting on the market and one that's sold fast.
